Investigation of perennial fluctuations in monthly air temperatures for the Murgash peak area
Svetoslav Mitkov, Ivanka Koleva-Lizama
Abstract: Climate change is one of the greatest challenges for humanity and its consequences may have a profound impact on the sustainable development. This study focuses on the fluctuations of the average monthly air temperature (1961-2011) for Murgash Peak (1687 m). The long-term peculiarities of temperature fluctuations are examined using statistical methods. Mostly positive deviations, from 0.5 to 1.3°C above normal, were found.
