Impact of biochar combined with nitrogen fertilization on bulk density and porosity of Fluvisol

Abstract: Field experiment with corn was carried out on sandy loam Fluvisol at the experimental field Tsalapitsa in the period 2019-2021, to study the modifications in bulk density, particle density and porosity of the soil under the influence of combined amendment of biochar of oak bark at (0, 5 and 10 t/ha) with nitrogen fertilization (130 and 260 kg/ha). Statistically significant decrease in bulk density and increase in total porosity was found as a result of amendment of biochar combined with nitrogen fertilizer.
