Bulgarian Journal of Soil Science, Agrochemistry and Ecology is an open access peer-reviewed quarterly scientific journal published by the publishing house of Agricultural Academy. It has been published since 1966. The journal is administrated by an international Editorial board and its Editor-in-Chief is Prof. DSc. Irena Atanassova.

Aims & Scope

The journal publishes in Bulgarian and English original articles, reviews, short messages, reports from scientific conferences in all aspects of the field of: genesis, geography and classification of soils, GIS, soil physics, soil chemistry, tillage and crop rotations, agrochemistry and fertilization, soil microbiology, soil erosion, environmental monitoring, soil ecology, conservation and soil regeneration, soil management, regulations and laws, agrotechnology and protected growth Soil functions that support human life and the functioning of the planetary ecosystem. Processes supporting the development of plant growth, regulation of water and nutrient cycles, and their ability to filter pollutants. Relationship between soil and climate change, provision of clean water and food, biological diversity, agriculture, agrochemistry, ecology as well as from other scientific fields related to the theme of the journal.

Open access policy

The journal is open access, its online content is available at no charge to the user or their institution. Users may read, download, copy, distribute, print, search or link to the full texts of articles, or use them for other legitimate purposes, without seeking prior permission from the publisher or author.

Fees

There is no fee for publishing.

There is an annual subscription fee for the paper version of the journal in the amount of BGN 60.
