Some Agro Ecological Problems in Anthropogenic Impacts on Leached Chernozems from North Bulgaria
A. Mikova, D. Stoicheva, P. Alexandrova, C. Simeonova, l. Dimitrov
Резюме: Last years the investigations in agriculture concern elaborations of good agriculture practices, which main goal is getting a qualitative production in accordance with the international standards and decreasing the impact on the environment.
Increasing anthropogenic impacts of different nature, the incorrect application of agricultural practices in general (including the unbalanced nitrogen fertilization) lead to loading farmlands and have a significant impact on the environment, which is a reason for number of environmental risks such as: reducing biodiversity, acidification, pollution of surface and groundwater, and more.
The report presents the results of many-years – field experiment conducted with maize as a monoculture, grown under irrigation on Leached Chernozems in North Bulgaria. The data obtained show that when the technology solutions for growing earthed-up crops were elaborated, it is necessary to apply environmental norms of nitrogen fertilization in order to create the conditions for maximum incorporation of nitrogen in the biological cycle of substances. The realization of crop productivity and maximum use of the potential of soil resources are guaranteed under such conditions.
According to the results, the application of modern scientific approaches for elaboration of specific technology components is an important prerequisite for maintaining a sustainable balance of agro-ecosystems and correct land management.
